New Office of Health Disparities Research Site

By Miguel Valdez Soto

The Mayo Clinic Office of Health Disparities Research (OHDR) is excited to announce the launch of an OHDR website available to viewers outside of Mayo Clinic. The new site’s homepage welcomes visitors with featured content focused on the mission of the office and a description of Mayo Clinic health disparities research in Minnesota, Arizona, and Florida. The site provides visitors an easy way to learn about the OHDR and how to get involved. The target audiences are research scientists, physicians, and health care providers within and outside Mayo Clinic; external funding agencies (federal and private); community health partners; and communities that need care across the nation. The site is fluid, responsive (comments enabled), and mobile friendly. Selections of health disparities research projects are displayed by location (Minnesota, Arizona and Florida) with lists of research teams working and collaborating across Mayo campuses to advance these projects. OHDR activities are listed as news posts and will be updated regularly.
The existing OHDR intranet site will still publish regular updates on OHDR activities, meetings and conferences, and funding opportunities for internal audiences. It will also include expanded research profiles and projects of Mayo Clinic investigators and available resources within the institute.

Please email the OHDR with any questions or feedback on the site.
